This site is run by Beer for the Kick community. It is not operated by Kick or by Shuffle. This page explains, in plain terms, exactly what the site records about you and why.
What Is Collected
When you log in with Kick
- Your Kick user ID, username and profile picture.
- Your email address, if Kick includes it with the permission you grant. It is only ever visible to site admins.
- An access token from Kick, encrypted and held only as long as it is valid. It is never sent to your browser.
When you use the site
- Your IP address, browser user-agent and language.
- A device fingerprint — a code derived from properties your browser exposes, such as screen size, timezone, language, graphics hardware and processor count. It contains no personal detail on its own; it exists so the same browser can be recognised across different accounts.
- Your activity: pints earned and spent, slot requests, giveaway entries and wins.
- A session cookie so you stay logged in. It holds a random ID and nothing about you.
From chat
- Messages in Beer's Kick chat are read live so commands and keyword entries work, and so pint drops know who was talking. Chat messages are not stored — only the fact that an account was active in the last minute.
Why
- To run the site — logging you in, tracking pints, taking slot requests, entering you into giveaways.
- To keep giveaways fair. This is why IP and device fingerprint are recorded. Prizes have real value, and the rules do not allow one person entering through several accounts. Comparing these signals is how that rule is enforced.
- To keep the site working — error logs and rate limiting that stop abuse.
There is no advertising, no tracking across other websites, and no third-party analytics. Nothing here is sold or shared for marketing.
How Long It Is Kept
- IP addresses and device fingerprints: 180 days from the last time they were seen, then deleted automatically.
- Account details and pint history: kept while your account exists, so balances and giveaway records stay correct.
- Giveaway results: kept indefinitely, because publishing past draws is what lets anyone verify they were fair.
- Admin action logs: kept as a record of who changed what.
Who Can See It
Only Beer and appointed site admins. Your username, avatar and public activity — queue entries, giveaway entrant lists, winners — are visible to everyone, which is the point of those features. Your email, IP and device fingerprint are never shown publicly. Whenever an admin looks up an account, that lookup is itself logged.
Data sits with the hosting providers that run the site (application hosting and a database in the EU/US), and with Kick, whose own privacy policy covers your Kick account.
Your Choices
- See what is held about you — ask and you will be told.
- Delete your account and data — ask, and everything except records that must remain for a completed giveaway's verification will be removed.
- Self-exclusion — ask to be blocked from entering giveaways and to have your account deactivated. This is honoured permanently and will not be reversed on request.
- Log out at any time from the menu under your name, which ends the session immediately.
To make any of these requests, contact Beer directly through Kick.
Under 18
This site is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and no account belonging to someone under 18 should exist here. If you believe a minor has signed up, tell Beer and the account will be removed.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
